The objective of the UFS Leadership Program is to recognize and provide financial support to young North American Muslims who are participating in a UFS global volunteer program and have demonstrated a dedication to community service. The Program awards a scholarship to individuals who embody UFS’s mission to advance social responsibility and have demonstrated leadership in the global and / or local community.
UFS Leadership Award Application
Requirements:

Must be accepted to a UFS volunteer program;

Submit a separate application for the leadership award once accepted to a program;

Demonstrate active community service involvement and strong leadership;

Must not have received the award before;
Process:

Applicants must be accepted to a UFS volunteer program in order to be eligible to apply for the leadership award;

The deadline to apply is two weeks before the program deadline;

Applicant(s) may be interviewed by phone;

The value of the leadership awards may be up to $500 and will be determined based on the applicants’ qualifications and number of qualified application received;

Award recipients must demonstrate service excellence during the program and also fulfill program requirements (program survey, trip report, testimonial) after returning home.
