UFS has relationships with other organizations that have global expertise and local relationships to make its volunteer programs successful. These organizations provide local partner contacts of non-profit organizations in the host countries for program development purposes as well as assist UFS in facilitating on-the-ground logistics. The current partners of UFS include Volunteer Morocco, a US-based organization, and Tashirat, a non-profit organization based in a rural area of Mexico City that operates an orphanage and school for underprivileged children. Aside from its program development partnerships, UFS is also a member of America’s Unofficial Ambassadors (“AUA”) network, which focuses on increasing the number of Americans volunteering in the Muslim world.
